kd weave goods chosen: *new* hand towels, dinner napkins, and *new* halftan

this space: My kitchen and garden. Food is at the heart of my home and spending my time in these spaces brings me such joy and calms my heart. Creating meals and tending the garden forces me to be present and almost slows time which seems to be going so quick these days. Finding moments to tend to my garden or whip up something in the kitchen with my impressionable daughter are moments I hold dear.

what story do you want your home to tell? I want my home to be one where someone feel comfortable to post-up at the kitchen island to enjoy a unique snack or try my latest homemade concoction. I want them to feel curious to ask questions about what’s in my fridge or garden or where I acquired a certain piece. There are any pieces in my home that have a lovely story to tell.

song: This is a tough one but I think I am most excited to share my love of The Beatles with my daughter. Here are a slew of my faves: She’s Leaving Home, Michelle, A Day in the Life, Blackbird, The Fool on The Hill, Your Mother Should Know

plant: Currently, ones that ward off mosquitos. Today I planted some Marigolds & Rosemary on the porch since we spend a lot of time on the porch swing.

go to recipe: Sweet potato hash with chorizo, farmers market eggs and garden-fresh basil – such an easy breakfast to make on the weekends, great on vacation with large groups and always a guest favorite.

gift to give: Local olive oil & one of your hand towels!

destination: Anywhere that places me deep in nature away from the city. I find myself dreaming of sunshine, feeling tucked away between the trees, exploring in nature.
