founded from the desire to make things by hand, & give meaningful gifts, Kimberly turned her passion into a business with kd weave. inspired by her grandmother's knit shop, Kimberly wanted to make things that are more than just things, but instead, are ways to connect. textiles being her first love, kd weave has allowed her to do just that.
our founder
Kimberly, is a wife and mom of two boys. she has found fulfillment & joy in that role, & also as a Christian, crafter, decorator, small business owner!, home chef, gardener, & so much more.
our team
we are US based in Houston, Texas, Kimberly's home. all our design & fulfillment happens here. Courtney, also a mom, is our right & left hand, managing all things online. our production team are all women artisans, based in India.
our products
for all our woven goods, we use 100% organic cotton & AZO free dyes. they are woven on hand looms, where every thread has been skillfully strung by hand to make our beautiful products. the commitment to hand made & safe materials makes them safe to use in your homes, & able to be enjoyed by all members of your family for years to come.
our production process
our cotton is sourced, spun, dyed, woven, sewn, & finished all by hand by our artisan partners. this process takes time & great skill. many hands go into making our goods, & we love that we are continuing a centuries old craft tradition.

our pricing
we view a kd weave purchase as an investment in your home, in long lasting goods, in your family, in our artisans, & in our small business. we believe every home should have a kd weave textile in them, & while we wish we could also make them at Amazon prices, the reality is that our goods are not Amazon quality goods. ours are more expensive because that is what it costs to make them with quality materials, & skilled artisanry. it is our promise to you that you'll get what you pay for, & will enjoy it for years to come.
